Ron Goulart – Gadget Man (New English Library, 1977)

Tony Masero

Blurb:
The Republic of Southern California was in serious trouble. The casually repressive rule of the Junta was threatened, not only by the growing band of guerrillas in the south, but also by the sudden, inexplicable outbreak of riots in the Republic’s wealthiest suburbs.
Who was behind these riots? What fiend was masterminding this destruction?
Sergeant Hecker had only one mysterious clue to work on – a single name: Gadget Man!

Not read it yet. Very short even by NEL standards (111 pages) and quite possibly not what we’d call a ‘horror’ book, but it’s by Ron ‘Vampirella novelisations’ Goulart and the cover art is by Tony Masero so you can’t grumble.
